I've taken the time to fill out three detailed surveys for WestBow regarding the awful treatment I experienced during my publishing journey. So far, no one has reached out to apologize or even attempt to rectify the situation. I’ve shelled out $13,000 to get this book published, and I’ve had to handle my own cover design, marketing, and leave countless messages for their so-called 'department heads' just to get a response. The quality of my book is top-notch, which is the only reason I’m not giving them a complete zero. But honestly, I feel like just another number in a system that’s more interested in my money than in providing any real service. There are tons of publishers out there who would be grateful for your business... you might want to consider them.

The final print quality is solid. That said, the overall service left a bit to be desired. For starters, the timing was off. I get that the book came out right after Christmas, but it took over a month for me to get my copy. Plus, the promotional materials are still missing. By the time they arrive, the book launch buzz will have died down. Better coordination would really help. As for the promised website for the book, it’s still not up, and it was approved ages ago. If it weren't for these timing issues, I would’ve rated this much higher. This is my second book published with WestBow, and even though they cost a bit more than some, their service has generally been good.
